SCRANTON — Progressive yuletide rock act The Wizards of Winter will bring its modern interpretation of holiday music to Scranton’s The Theater at Lackawanna College Dec. 3.

This year, the band has added former Ted Nugent bassist/vocalist Greg Smith and former Trans Siberian-Orchestra vocalist Peter Shaw to their lineup. They join former TSO members already touring with The Wizards of Winter including Tony Gaynor and Guy LeMonnier. While the band counts a number of TSO alumni among its ranks and performs a few of TSO’s well-known songs, The Wizards of Winter also plays their own original compositions.

Doors to the 501 Vine St., Scranton venue open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets in the orchestra section and front mezzanine are $42, while rear orchestra and mid balcony tickets are $38. To order, call 1-877-346-3552.
