HAZLE TWP. - State police at Hazleton are investigating an armed robbery at Burger King, state Route 309, Wednesday night.
Police said a man entered the restaurant armed with a firearm at about 9 p.m. and demanded money from two employees.
The gunman fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
Police described the man as having a thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue handkerchief that concealed his face, and black gloves.
