WILKES-BARRE TWP. –The public is invited to the township fire hall for a picnic lunch to show support for 2 -year-old Tyler Langan, who is suffering from a rare genetic disease.

The event, “Time 4 Tyler,” will start at noon Sunday.

Langan was recently diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidosis, or MPS. Currently there is no cure for the disease. His family is searching for hope from a specialist at Duke University.

Donations to help offset the family’s financial burden are appreciated.
