LEHMAN TWP. – Lake-Lehman teachers put a new offer on the table during a labor negotiation meeting on Tuesday night, a school board member said.
The union made a counter offer on the board’s health insurance coverage, said board member Mark Kornoski. The board has insisted any new contract must require teachers to pay part of their health insurance premiums.
Earlier this month, board members requested that teachers pay more for deductibles and co-payments for services.
Details about the offer in Tuesday’s session were not immediately available as of press time.
