The owner returned at about 2:45 p.m. to find items missing from several rooms, police said.
West Pittston police alleged in an arrest affidavit that Kevin Shannon, 18, of West Pittston and Joseph Dolfi, 23, of Exeter, stole a 50-inch Philips plasma TV, a Kodak camera, an unknown make and model camcorder, a red MP3 player, a green Boston Celtics basketball jersey, iHome player/music box, prescription medicines, cologne and three rings, including a mother’s ring, wedding band and diamond engagement ring, according to the affidavit.
Dolfi was arrested Friday after police searched a house he was living at on Penn Avenue and found some of the items, the affidavit states.
Dolfi is jailed at the county prison for lack of $75,000 straight bail on burglary, criminal conspiracy, criminal trespass, possessing instruments of crime, theft and receiving stolen property after being arraigned by District Judge Gerald Feissner.
Shannon has been charged with receiving stolen property, and burglary, and criminal conspiracy charges will be filed against him in the next few days, officer Michael Turner said.
Police are asking people who has purchased or received items from Dolfi or Shannon to call them to be interviewed.
Anyone who does not come forward voluntarily could later face charges of receiving stolen property, Turner said.
