The Osterhout Free Library recently received a $7,500 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation. The funds will be used for the Osterhout Library’s LAPTOTTS Program. The LAPTOTTS acronym means ‘Learning Assisted by Parents and Teachers on Technology for Tots.’ The LAPTOTTS program aims to help bridge the digital divide by introducing information technology to preschoolers and their families and to help ensure educational success by introducing research and computer skills to children and their parents and caregivers. Visit www.osterhout.info to learn more about the LAPTOTTS Program.
