Pennsylvanians for Human Life’s Scranton chapter recently sponsored its annual Youth for Life Art and Essay Contest. Students in grades 7-12 who attend public, private, parochial and home schools participated. The theme for the 2012 contest was, ‘How can I show love and respect for unborn babies and elderly and disabled persons?’ Several students from St. Jude School, Mountain Top, were winners. Youth for Life Art contest winners included Randie Kuhar, second place; Rachel Jones, tied for third place; and Emily Hons, sixth place.
