The suspected arsonists set fire to the iconic Cedar Bridge, which was built in 1883. The bridge was featured in the novel “The Bridges of Madison County” which was also made into a movie starring Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep.
Two friends, Alexander Hoff and Joel Davis, are suspected of starting the fire after admitting to buying gasoline and spreading it on the bridge.
