Wilkes-Barre man goes missing after reporting to police he was lost

WILKES-BARRE — Wilkes-Barre Police are searching for a missing man after they lost contact with him Wednesday night.

Albert Savignano, 89, of Wilkes-Barre, told police that he became lost while driving in Plymouth Township at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police then lost contact with Savignano.

Savignano is described as a white male, 5-feet-7-inches tall and about 230 pounds. He was driving a silver Nissan Rogue SUV with a Pennsylvania license plate number of KHP-8326.
