WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Police are on the lookout for an alleged crustacean crook in Wilkes-Barre Township.

Police released surveillance camera footage that they say captures a man that stole over $250 worth of lobster tails from Wegmans.

The alleged incident occurred just before midnight on Aug. 10, based on the release. It’s unclear why police are only releasing information about it now.

Based on the surveillance footage, the suspect is a thinly-built white male with brown hair.

Wilkes-Barre Township Police are asking anyone with information contact Patrolman Tom Lepore at 570-606-4801, or send a private message to the department’s Facebook page.
