LEHMAN TWP. — The search for a missing Nanticoke man continued Sunday on Lake Silkworth, according to a post on the Facebook page of the Luzerne County Fire EMS and Police Dispatch.

Officials say Adam Lutz, 22, went missing at about 11 p.m. Thursday near the Outpost Inn, a bar across the street from the lake. On Sunday, search teams with three boats worked in the lake for several hours, the post stated.

On Saturday, multiple dive teams, rescue units, state police and several volunteers were involved in the search for Lutz.

Lake Silkworth Fire Chief Jerry Walker told the Times Leader on Friday that Lutz was not familiar with the area. When last seen, he was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Lehman Township police at 570-675-1483.
