WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Four people were taken into custody after authorities conducted a drug raid at 1031 Spruce St. recently.

The township’s Special Investigations Unit and the Luzerne County Drug Task Force obtained a search warrant after a “several month investigation,” according to a report.

“Evidence of crack, marijuana and prescription abuse was located” during the search, township officers wrote on the department’s Facebook page. “The three occupants of the home were taken into custody as was a male who later turned himself in at police headquarters.”

The post did not list those arrested, or say specifically what was seized during the raid.

But a photo the department posted showed at least five rifles and what appears to be drug gear, drug bags, and prescription medication bottles.

No further information was available.
