Wilkes-Barre man reported missing

WILKES-BARRE — A city man diagnosed with dementia was reported missing Wednesday.

Police said Stephen Rivera, 48, has not been seen since he left his Carlisle Street residence at about 8:15 a.m.

Rivera is diagnosed with dementia and left his residence without his daily medications and cell phone. He is described as a white male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 173 pounds, with salt and pepper hair.

He was last seen wearing eyeglasses, blue jeans, a black-hooded sweatshirt and a blue-hooded coat.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Wilkes-Barre police at 570-208-4200 or 911.
