WILKES-BARRE — The Parsons Lions Club has donated a tablet computer to the Osterhout Free Library North Branch for second- through sixth-grade students. It’s equipped with “After School Edge” software that covers subjects such as math, science, geography and reading. It’s also self-contained so it does not have to be connected to the Internet, said Joanne Austin, supervisor of the North Branch on Oliver Street in Wilkes-Barre.
