KINGSTON TWP. — A Shavertown man allegedly emailed two pictures of a naked girl, but what may be more disturbing is what he reportedly told Luzerne County detectives.

Jacob Dembowski, 25, of Weavertown Road, told detectives he gets a “thrill” and sexual gratification from secretly taking photos of young females and certain body parts in public and not getting caught by parents or legal guardians, according to a criminal complaint.

Dembowski was arraigned Tuesday by District Judge James Tupper on third-degree felony counts of dissemination of a photo or film of children engaged in sex acts and criminal use of a communication facility. He was released on $20,000 unsecured bail, which means he didn’t have to post any money.

According to the complaint:

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children told police that a Google email account was used to upload two images of child pornography in July.

An investigation determined a cellphone belonging to Dembowski was used to upload the images.

Dembowski was questioned by detectives at his place of employment in the Hanover Industrial Estates on Dec. 6. He admitted he used his Gmail account twice to disseminate an image of a naked girl.

Dembowski told detectives he is infatuated with images of young female models, and used his cellphone to take pictures of young females in public. He also claimed to have images of young girls’ underwear saved in the photo gallery of his phone.

Dembowski also wrote stories about women and girls being raped, and he shared many of the stories online.
