Snow came early to Pennsylvania this year. While most roadways remained wet, small accumulations of show could be found on decks, cars, and especially trees.

Snow accumulated above the 1000-feet line on Wilkes-Barre Mountain. Below 1000 feet any wet snow that fell melted almost immediately.

Three inches of snow fell in Moscow, Lackawanna County.

The heaviest snow fell in the higher elevations, generally above 1500 feet. About 3 inches of snow accumulated in Moscow, Lackawanna County.
As of 7:00am PPL reports over 700 customers without power in Luzerne County, most of them in the Mountain Top area. Only a few customers in Lackawanna County were without power.
More snow could be on the way. A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon as a new storm moves up the coast.
