You choose the adjective(s) to describe his Dishonor burke, the six judges who elected him president and the "loser"ne county voters who cast a ballot for retention: CORRUPT, COWARDLY, INCOMPETENT or ALL OF THE ABOVE. Just another slap in the face to the few honorable folks left in Luzerne county; a shame!

Good Luck Judge Burke. I hope you can be more aware of what's going on around you than you have been the past few years.

They don't make them better than Judge Burke. He is a stand-up guy and a wonderful family man. I can't think of anyone better suited to bring honor and trust back to NEPA than Judge Burke. Congrats.

Hey Patriot, if you don't like it, LEAVE. You're not wanted here. We're looking forward, not behind. It's easy to complain, that's why you do it. Nobody would expect you to actually work hard to help make this a better place live.

Dear Patriot 2010: It is obvious from your comment that you have never met Tom Burke. He is everything that a president judge should be. He walks the line every day of his life. If Judge Burke isn't worthy of the title Honorable then none of use are...especially you.

Hey faith I must have touched a nerve; pull your head out of the sand for a moment and think. Was burke on the bench when all of the corruption was taking place? Answer; Yes! How can you possibly think he didn't know? The entire court house needs a clean sweep, only then will we be able to move forward. What exactly have you done to make the county better? Continue to elect the same old political hacks who put us in this mess? Please think before you write.

I guess that people forget that Burke was strongly in favor of appointing Cooney to the Commissioner's seat. I'm sure you remember that Cooney gave $2000 to Petrilla and Skrep and it was Cooney who gave the now infamous construction management job to the local political operative who also financed Petrilla and Skrep. Oh yeah, Burke is a great role model. Seems to me that the more things change, the less they change. I guess we needed Burke to maintain our culture of corruption. Thanks to all of the other spineless judges for al they have (not) done for the residents of Luzerne County. We can also blame the media for the lack of coverage they give to the day to day business of government. Where was the media when Vonderspend and Skrep borrowed over 200 million dollars?
