CORPORATE LADDER

Attorney Edward J. Ciarimboli, of the law firm of Fellerman & Ciarimboli, recently joined the board of directors of the nonprofit agency that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Luzerne County. In addition to his civil practice, Ciarimboli serves as the solicitor for Luzerne County for the Mental Health/Mental Retardation Program where he represents the county whenever there is a commitment proceeding involving an individual who may have a mental health issue.

Attorney Michael J. Domanish, Moscow, recently joined the firm as a personal injury and workers’ compensation specialist. Domanish is a magna cum laude graduate of the Widener University School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Lackawanna Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the U.S Court of Appeals in the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Court in the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

NORTHEAST MANUFACTURERS AND EMPLOYERS ASSOCIATION

Officers recently were installed for the association that provides a range of services to companies in Carbon, Luzerne, Lackawanna, Northumberland, and Schuylkill counties in order to help local companies remain competitive

Chris Dende, of Mrs. T.’s Pierogies (ateeco, inc.), was installed as chairman.

Andy Falco, of Hydra-Tech Pumps, was installed as vice chairman.

Atul Govil, of Altadis USA, was installed as second vice chairman.

Jeff Fitzgerald, of Draka Cableteq, USA, was installed as secretary.

Ken Stolarick, of M&T Bank, was installed as treasurer.

FIRST KEYSTONE NATIONAL BANK

Matthew P. Prosseda, was recently promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer of the independently owned community bank which operates branches in Columbia, Luzerne, Montour and Monroe counties. Prosseda has 26 years of banking experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Pennsylvania State University. He is working toward an MBA from University of Massachusetts, Amherst in their On-line Professional Program. Prosseda serves on the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association and the Berwick Industrial Development Association. He also is a member of UNICO and the Columbia-Montour Chamber of Commerce.

DIVERSIFIED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

Warren Lederer recently was named vice president of solutions at the Scranton-headquartered company which is a leading provider of document and information lifecycle solutions in the health care, insurance and banking industries. Lederer is responsible for driving the company’s marketing, sales and business development strategy; channel partnerships; customer support strategy and management of the sales team. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Buffalo.

MERCY TYLER HOSPITAL

Dr. Brenda T. Goodrich, a family practice physician at Geisinger Medical Group in Tunkhannock, recently was named president of the hospital’s medical staff. Goodrich is a graduate of the University of Scranton and received her medical education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a PA Governor’s Chronic Care Initiative Champion Physician and a certified Dexa Densiometrist.

Joanne Reddington, Human Resources Manager at Cardinal Systems, Schuylkill Haven, recently was recognized as the HR Professional of the Year by The Northeast PA Manufacturers and Employers Association.

Wilkes-Barre residents, Linda Blencowe, Frank Budusky, Janet Butka, John Cowitch, Kathi Davis, Keith George, John Luca and Charles Werner recently were recognized for their commitment to customer service at Raymour & Flanigan’s Celebration of Champions award ceremony. The annual performance-based award ceremony recognizes the top performing managers, sales professionals and delivery associates who exceed the company’s customer service and customer delivery goals.
