WILKES-BARRE - The death of a Fairmount Township woman is not considered suspicious, Luzerne County Coroner John Corcoran said Tuesday morning.
State police at Shickshinny said 26-year old Rebecca Lynne Amrowski was found inside her home on Red Hill Road, Fairmount Township, on Monday.
Corcoran said an autopsy by forensic pathologist Dr. Gary Ross determined Amrowski's death not suspicious.
"There was an autopsy completed this morning," Corcoran said. "At this time, we have a little bit more work to do. All the investigators are putting their heads together to come up with the final answer."

A Benton area woman was found dead in her Red Hill Road home Monday morning, Luzerne County District Attorney Jackie Musto Carroll said, but it was unclear how the 26-year-old died.
Rebecca Lynne Amrowski was discovered in her basement by family and coworkers who had come to check on her when she failed to show up for her job as a receptionist at a doctor’s office in Shickshinny, Musto Carroll said. She had gone to work on Friday, but no one had made contact with her since, according to the district attorney. Co-workers went to her house during lunch, and called her family to help gain entrance to the home.
“It’s suspicious given her age and that she was very routine in going to work,” Musto Carroll said, but added that details of Amrowski’s condition when she was found are not being released in case the death was self-induced.
Amrowski was married, but had no children, Musto Carroll said. Authorities were still trying to find the husband Monday night, she said. State police at Shickshinny were conducting interviews during the day and into the evening, she said, to discern the reason for the death.
