Authorities captured a Fairmount Township man on Monday on charges he stole a vehicle rented by his wife who was later found dead inside his home on June 22.
State police Lt. Richard Krawetz said Brian Keith Amrowski, 31, was captured at a Motel 6 in Carson City, Nev., by Carson City Sheriff Deputies and the U.S. Marshals Service at about 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Amrowski's wife, Rebecca Lynne Amrowski, 26, was found dead inside their home on Red Hill Road on June 22.
State police accused Amrowski of stealing a 2008 Kia that Rebecca rented from Enterprise Car Rental on Kidder Street, Wilkes-Barre, on June 19.
Amrowski was captured on an arrest warrant charging him with theft and receiving stolen property in connection to the rented vehicle.
Krawetz said the investigation into Rebecca's death is continuing.
