Bill Kelly, president of WVIA-TV channel 44, Friday said he has written confirmation from both U.S. Rep. Paul E. Kanjorski, D-Nanticoke, and Republican challenger Lou Barletta that the two 11th District congressional candidates will debate live on the station on Oct. 29.
Kelly said the debate will air at 8 p.m.
He said incumbent Democrat Chris Carney and Republican challenger Chris Hackett will debate on the station on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 8 p.m. A third debate, between incumbent Democrat Tim Holden and Republican challenger Toni Gilhooley, will air Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 8 p.m.
