Man pleads guilty to harassment of lewd e-mail photo

WILKES-BARRE - A man accused by Edwardsville police for e-mailing a picture of a woman's genital he pierced pleaded guilty to harassment on Wednesday.

Shawn Besnoska, 34, of Moosic, pleaded guilty to the third-degree misdemeanor offense during a preliminary hearing in Central Court. He was fined $283.50, according to court records.

Prosecutors withdrew two counts of invasion of privacy, second-degree misdemeanors, against Besnoska.

Police alleged in arrest records Besnoska pierced a woman's genital and e-mailed a picture to a friend's cell phone in early June.
