WILKES-BARRE - A four day search for a man suspected in a shooting at a city tavern has surrendered.
City police said Don Farrell, 28, turned himself in at police headquarters at about 11:45 p.m. He was arraigned by West Pittston District Judge Joseph Carmody on two counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault, and one count each of reckless endangerment and firearms not to be carried without a person. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $100,000 bail.
Police alleged Farrell shot Christopher Krisanda in the leg outside Liam's Place, 760 N. Washington St., at about 1:25 a.m. Tuesday.
The two men had an argument inside the tavern prior to the shooting, police said in arrest records.
After Farrell allegedly shot Krisanda, police said in arrest records that Benji Benjamin, 22, shot Joseph Benson, 38, across the street from the tavern.
Benson died from his injuries, prosecutors said.
Benjamin surrendered to authorities on Wednesday. He faces charges of criminal homicide and firearms not to be carried without a license.
