SCRANTON - Sen. Hillary Clinton said during her speech tonight at Scranton High School that she will return to Scranton for Saturday's St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Clinton said she will attend the parade with Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell.
"I guess it's no surprise if I say that the Governor and I will be back here Saturday for the St. Patrick's Day Parade," Clinton said near the end of her address.
Earlier in the day, Clinton stopped by an Old Forge restaurant and had pizza with an family friend while speaking with reporters.
Clinton was greeted at the door of Revello's by lifelong family friend Hazel Price.
Price, 82, lived next door to Clinton's parents on Diamond Avenue in Scranton. Her daughter, Charolette Iori, was a childhood friend of Clinton's. She told reporters that if she was elected president Northeastern Pennsylvania would have a "friend and partner" in the White House.
