Once again the Wyoming Valley showed it has a heart with a fundraiser held Saturday night at Rocco’s Sports Bar & Grille in Kingston for 5-month-old Aiden James Newman, who needs a liver transplant as a result of a rare condition called biliary atresia. Earlier in the day, in Dallas, parents and children enjoyed themselves at Wild Birds Unlimited, where a naturalist from the Carbon County Environmental Education Center talked about birds of prey and brought bald and golden eagles for the audience’s viewing pleasure.
