WILKES-BARRE - A woman found shot to death inside her home on Lehigh Street obtained an emergency protection from abuse order against the alleged gunman, Donnell Buckner, last week.
Kewaii Rogers Buckner, 31, received the PFA after she claimed Buckner, 34, threatened her on Thursday.
According to the PFA, she alleged Buckner threatened her life and wanted to play Russian Roulette. He tried to pull out his gun, Rogers Buckner alleged, when she walked out of the home.
She claimed Buckner locked her out of the residence until their daughter arrived home from school.
A court hearing was scheduled for tomorrow on the PFA application.
Police are searching for Buckner who is accused of killing Rogers Buckner inside the home Sunday night.
Police said in arrest records that Rogers Buckner suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Buckner sped away in a white 2005 Dodge Caravan, Pennsylvania registration GJK-8825, or a silver 2007 Ford Taurus, Pennsylvania registration GXT-5156.
An autopsy is scheduled for 5 p.m. today.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Buckner is asked to contact Wilkes-Barre police at 208-4200. He is described as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 280 pounds. He is considered armed and dangarous, police said.
