Pawlenty campaigns for McCain today

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty will campaign for Sen. John McCain in northeastern Pennsylvania today. .

Pawlenty will be in Dallas at 1 p.m. the Victory Center, Dallas Shopping Center, where he will greet volunteers and meet with Chris Hackett, the Republican candidate for 10th Congressional District.

Pawlenty will then head to Factoryville to announce the Pennsylvania Sportsmen for McCain coalition leadership team at 2:45 p.m. at the Factoryville Sportsmen’s Club Lake Winola Road.

He will also visit Tamaqua, Bethlehem, Allentown and Philadelphia.

Pawlenty is said to be on the short list of potential vice presidential candidates. McCain has said he will make his decision on a running mate as soon as next week.
