Summer traditionally is when socializing

Summer traditionally is when socializing peaks in Northeastern Pennsylvania, and this year is no exception. On Saturday, hundreds went to Nanticoke’s Honey Pot and Hanover sections for the city’s annual Great Nanticoke Yard Sale. That evening scores sought the comfort of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Wilkes-Barre to see musical performances by the Wyoming Seminary Performing Arts Institute. Meanwhile, thousands made their way to South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre for the annual bazaar at St. Nicholas Church, which was held Thursday through Saturday evenings.
