YATESVILLE – The viewing for Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Joshua Miller, who was killed in the line of duty on Sunday, will be held from 1-8 p.m. today at Pittston Area High School in Yatesville.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at the high school, with interment to follow at the Lacey Street Cemetery in Laceyville.
The funeral procession, which will include hundreds of law enforcement officers from all over the country, will begin at approximately 12:30 p.m. from the high school to Main Street, Jenkins Township, to Main Street, Pittston, to the Fort Jenkins Bridge and Route 92 north through Falls.
The procession will continue on Route 92 through Tunkhannock with traffic blocked at points along the way and continue up Route 6. There will be a signed detour onto Dark Hollow Road, east and west bound, for other motorists.
An honor guard will be staged at the barracks in Tunkhannock.
Traffic will be stopped at Routes 6 and 87 as the motorcade continues into Laceyville.
