The cuts might have been "Painful," but the projects just weren't part of the core of what state government was about. Gov. Rendell has a tendency to want to exaggerate the loss, but he has to understand that we, the taxpayers, know full well, they weren't cut programs just weren't absolutely necessary for the state to function.
