One lane of I-81 northbound reopened following vehicle fire

Emergency responders have reopened one lane of Interstate 81 Northbound, which was closed by a fire in a recreational vehicle earlier this afternoon near Exit 175 at Dupont / Pittston.

State troopers are still on the scene, and PennDOT has advised drivers to avoid the highway. Alternate northbound routes include the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Bear Creek or Route 315.
