WARRIOR RUN - A man was charged on Sunday for allegedly stabbing a man seven or eight times with a pocket knife, police said.
Police said Richard Michael Tattersall, 56, of Front Street, Warrior Run, was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and two counts of simple assault. He remained jailed on Monday for lack of $10,000 bail.
Tattersall stabbed John Boehm, 27, during an argument inside 513 Front St. at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, according to hte criminal complaint.
Boehm was transported to Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre and transferred to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, where he underwent surgery, police said in arrest records.
A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled on April 8 in Central Court.
