Mr. and Mrs. John Hrobaski, Swoyersville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 25, 2013. They were married May 25, 1963, by the late Rev. Reginald Krakosky, uncle of the bride, in St. John Nepomucene Church, Luzerne.

Carol Pisaneski Kane was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Pat Novak Baron; Clara Hrobaski Hoffman, sister of the groom; and Barbara Krakosky Lulis, sister of the bride. The late William Kane was best man. Groomsmen were Robert Kompinski; the late Frank Gosiewski, cousin of the groom; and John Sabol.

Mrs. Hrobaski is the former Carol Krakosky, daughter of the late George and Mary Krakosky. She was employed by Eye Care Specialists, Kingston.

Mr. Hrobaski is the son of the late John and Josephine Hrobaski. He is retired from Acme Markets Inc.

They have four children, Diane Suda, Swoyersville; John George, York; Corine Lynn, Swoyersville; and Eileen and her husband, Jeff Weiss, Springfield.

They have two grandchildren, Lauren Kathryn Suda, New York, and Tyler John Suda, California.

The occasion was commemorated with a Mass celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Pisaneschi at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Swoyersville. A dinner was held at Perugino’s in Luzerne.

A trip to the south is planned.
