Slain Conn. student feared man resuming contact

(AP)

Documents filed in the case of a slain Wesleyan University student say she changed her e-mail address because she worried about a man trying to resume contact with her.

The recently filed search warrant affidavits don't say if the man was Stephen Morgan, who is accused of fatally shooting Johanna Justin-Jinich in May inside a cafe near campus.

The documents indicate a friend told police that Justin-Jinich said someone she knew from New York University was contacting her by e-mail, and she wanted nothing to do with him.

The documents say she changed her e-mail address, but the man found it.

Justin-Jinich filed a harassment complaint against Morgan when both attended a class at NYU. Morgan has denied killing her.
