(AP) Former Mayor Ed Koch's (KAHCH'-es) furniture, books and letters are going on the auction block in New York City.

Doyle New York is auctioning the items over two days. Furniture, decorations and art from Koch's Greenwich (GREN'-ich) Village apartment are being offered Monday. The three-term mayor's letters and books will go on sale Nov. 25.

Koch died in February at the age of 88.

Among Monday's highlights is a thank-you letter from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

The session also includes Koch's burgundy leather club chair and ottoman, estimated to bring $300.

Other items include his dining room table and chairs designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The pre-sale estimate is $6,000.

Next Monday, the highlights include a framed copy of a 1948 letter from Harry Truman recognizing the newly established state of Israel.
