(AP) Egypt's health ministry says 28 people have been killed in clashes between security forces and supporters of the ousted president.

The ministry said the 26 were killed in Cairo, and two in cities south of the capital.

The clashes took place on a national holiday celebrating the 40th anniversary of the start of the 1973 Mideast war.
