(AP) Deron Williams scored 11 points in his first and only appearance of the preseason, and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Miami Heat 108-87 on Friday night in the exhibition finale for both teams.

Williams missed the Nets' first six preseason games with a right ankle injury. He played 10 minutes against the Heat, going 4 for 5 from the field and 3 for 4 from 3-point range.

Alan Anderson scored 17 points to lead the Nets, who played without Kevin Garnett (rest) and Andrei Kirilenko (back).

Udonis Haslem scored 16 points on 8 for 9 shooting for Miami, which gave LeBron James and Chris Bosh the night off.

The Heat will hoist the franchise's third NBA championship banner on Tuesday night before opening the season at home against the Chicago Bulls. Brooklyn opens Wednesday at Cleveland.
