Trout homers for Angels in win over WSox

(AP) Mike Trout homered and scored three runs, Howie Kendrick and Albert Pujols each had two hits Thursday and the Los Angeles Angels roughed up John Danks in a 12-4 win over the Chicago White Sox.


Danks gave up seven hits and six runs in 3 1-3 innings. Trout hit his first home run of spring training leading off the bottom of the first.


Angels left-hander Jason Vargas, in his third spring start, worked 4 2-3 innings and allowed a run and two hits with five strikeouts.


Chicago's Dewayne Wise hit his second homer, off Scott Downs.
