Mary Smith

Mary E. Smith of Pleasant Street, York, formerly of Vine Street, Avoca,
died
Thursday at the York County Nursing HomeBorn in Avoca, she was a daughter
of the late James and Elizabeth Dougherty Healey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 1973; brothers,
Francis, Joe and Vincent; a sister, Anna Langan.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Alice Gunnet, York; sons, James, Moulton
Boro, N.H.; Robert, Shreveport, La.; David and Thomas, both of Bay Shore,
N.Y.; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the Austin F. O’Malley
III Funeral Home, 728 Main St., Avoca, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10
a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Avoca.
Interment will be in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Moosic.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
