Harmon Patten

    armon S. Patten, of Tunkhannock, died Saturday at Moses Taylor Hospital,
Scranton.
   

   
Born Jan. 2, 1923, in Albany, N.Y., he was the son of the late Harmon S.
and Frances (Crippen) Patten. Before retiring, he worked for Decon Inc.,
Alliance, Ohio; Bayer Aspirin, Trenton, N.J., and Winthrop Laboratories,
Albany, N.Y. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
   
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian H.; and sister, Mary Jane
Patten.
   
Surviving are his wife, Lois (Pofahl) Patten; sons, Bruce R., Martinez,
Calif.; Richard D., Collegeville; and David James, Hamlin; four grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.
   
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Graceland Cemetery, 680
Delaware Ave., Albany, N.Y. Arrangements are by the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral
Home Inc., Tunkhannock.
