Lauren Nicole Friberg and Christopher Brian Chromey were united in marriage on July 1, 2007, in St. Cecelia’s Church, Exeter.
The bride is the daughter of George and Joanne Friberg, Exeter. She is the granddaughter of Katharine Mecadon, Pittston, and the late Michael Mecadon, and Joseph and Bettie Friberg, St. Paul, Minn.
The groom is the son of Judy Chromey, Exeter. He is the grandson of the late Walter and Hazel Perhalla, and the late Harold and Anne Chromey.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father. She chose her sister Melissa Friberg as her maid of honor. Her bridesmaids were Nicole Chromey, sister of the groom, and Joan Gunning, a friend of the bride.
PJ Chromey, the groom’s brother, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Ricky Kizis, cousin of the groom, and Michael Burns, a friend of the couple.
Cousins Michaelene Mecadon and RJ Dixon read the scriptural readings. A wedding reception was held at A Touch of Class Catering, Parsons.
The couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic, and are residing in Pittston.
