LEHMAN TWP. – Led by a 10-kill, 13-dig performance from Ogaz Cangoz, Abington Heights defeated Lake-Lehman, 3-1 in a Wyoming Valley Conference boys volleyball match on Wednesday. The Comets won 25-15, 25-20, 19-25, 25-11 win.

Kody Pasqualichio netted 15 digs, seven kills and six aces for Abington, while Jesse Cooper chipped in with 12 kills, seven digs and three blocks.

Adam Supey paced the Black Knights with 24 assists and five blocks, while Ricky Swanson (3 assists, 11 kills) and Dylan Dunn (10 blocks, 2 kills) also contributed.

Berwick 3, Meyers 0

The Bulldogs won by scores of 25-16, 25-8, 25-14 as Kiet Hervet (17 assists, 9 service points), Nick Rockey (9 kills), Nate Walton (5 kills) and Julio Reyes (16 points, 2 kills) all contributed.

For the Mohawks, Huy Nguyen posted six assists and four kills, while Keyton Winder tallied four kills, one block and one assist and Ken Frank had an ace and a block.

North Pocono 3, Dallas 0

The Trojans came out with the 25-7, 25-8, 25-19 win as Matt Smith tallied 32 assists and 20 service points and Dom Verdetto had seven kills.

Chris Dylan and Mike Diaco had eight assists and five kills, respectively for Dallas.

Holy Redeemer 3, Wyoming Valley West 0

The Royals got the sweep by scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-16.

Rob Wingert paced the win with 29 assists and 10 service points, Pete Alexis added 11 kills, Mike Desciak had seven kills to go with 10 service points, and Mike Zurek had nine kills, seven service points and seven digs.

Alex Czopek (9 kills, 4 blocks, 6 digs), Mark Richards (9 kills, 2 blocks, 4 digs) and Alex Himlin (6 points, 5 aces, 2 blocks, 7 digs) helped the Spartans (4-2).

Delaware Valley 3, Crestwood 1

Delaware Valley posted a win over Crestwood by the scores of 25-20, 22-25, 25-22, 25-16.

Pat Clader led Delaware Valley with 27 assists while Brendon Sheldon had 11 kills, 10 blocks, and nine service points and Jesse Merbler notched 11 kills.

Crestwood’s Jake Prohaska had 15 kills to go with seven blocks, Nick Banos recorded 24 assists and five digs, and Seth Skonieczki added 11 service points and eight digs.
