The Wyoming Seminary Board of Trustees has named four members of the Wyoming Seminary Upper School faculty and administration as the recipients of endowed chairs. The recipients are John H. Shafer, Kingston, the Wilbur H. and Evelyn Fleck Chair in Administration; Jason L. Thatcher, Kingston, the John A. McCole Chair in Mathematics; Renee F. Casterline, Tunkhannock, the Joseph C. Donchess Chair in Science; and Dan Krueger, Kingston, the Doris L. Patrick Chair in Fine and Performing Arts. The honor recognizes the person’s excellence in teaching and administration and provides a stipend for the person as well as additional funds for the recipient’s department. The recipients hold the chairs for five years and the honor may be renewed. First row, from left, are Thatcher, Krueger, Casterline, and Shafer.
