PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A church in Philadelphia is engulfed in flames as firefighters battle to contain the blaze.

The fire broke out around 9 a.m. at Christ Liberation Fellowship Church in West Philadelphia.

TV footage shows flames shooting from the church’s front door and side windows and heavy black smoke pouring from the roof.

A fire department spokesman says there has been a partial exterior collapse, but there is no word on any injuries.

No other information was immediately available.
