WILKES-BARRE — The Luzerne County District Attorney’s Office will soon
have help pursuing crimes against women.
   
In a press release, District Attorney Peter Paul Olszewski Jr. announced
Tuesday the addition of Larry Fabian to his office’s detective division. He
will be sworn in Thursday in the Luzerne County Courthouse by Judge Patrick
Toole Jr.
    Fabian’s responsibilities will include investigating and prosecuting cases
involving crimes against women, specifically domestic violence and sexual
assault cases, the release stated.
   
Fabian could not be reached for comment.
   
With 10 years of law enforcement experience, Fabian recently served as
police chief of Plymouth Township, the release stated. He earned his
bachelor’s degree from Wilkes University, then Wilkes College, in 1972 and an
associate’s degree in criminal justice from Luzerne County Community College
in 1987.
