TUNKHANNOCK TWP. — State police are investigating a crash involving a Tunkhannock Township police cruiser early Sunday morning on state road 1001.

A 2011 Toyota Tundra pickup truck driven by Adam Emmi, 29, of Tunkhannock, was traveling north on the roadway at 1:38 a.m. and failed to negotiate a right-hand curve. The Toyota crossed both lanes of travel and struck the cruiser.

Emmi was not injured. The driver of the police cruiser, Corey Sidorek, 27, of Tunkhannock, and a passenger Edward Moristell, 34, of Tunkhannock, suffered minor injuries.

The vehicles sustained moderate damage.
