PLAINS TWP. — Township police said they cited Jeffrey Warke, 33, of Wilkes-Barre, with public drunkenness when he was allegedly found intoxicated and staggering across state Route 315 on March 19. The citation was filed with District Judge Diana Malast in Plains Township.
WILKES-BARRE — City police said they cited Ron Skiro, 58, of Wilkes-Barre, with public drunkenness after investigating a disturbance at 27 E. Main St. on Saturday.
HANOVER TWP. — Police said two vehicles were discovered damaged on Oxford Street on March 28.
A rear window on a 1993 Chevrolet Lumina, owned by Florence Andenno, was smashed with a red brick and a windshield on a 1993 Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup, owned by Dennis Gliddon, was smashed.
WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Madeline Distasio reported Saturday her cellphone was stolen while she was inside TJ Maxx, Arena Hub Plaza.
NANTICOKE — City police reported the following:
* Autumn Coleman of Coal Street reported her vehicle was scratched while it was parked near her residence.
* Kenneth Bartuska of State Street reported a window was smashed at his residence.
* A window was smashed on a Honda Accord parked at Eclipse Enterprise on West Union Street.
* Pat Aulisio of Overlook Drive reported two backpacks containing sparring equipment, a Geisinger identification badge and miscellaneous school items were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked near Tommyboys on North Market Street.
