PLAINS TWP. — Township police arrested Damon A. Seibert, 30, of North River Street, on charges he threatened two people with a rifle early Thursday morning.
Seibert was arraigned by District Judge Alexandra Kokura Kravitz in Pittston on two counts of terroristic threats. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
According to the criminal complaint:
Vincent Orleski and Evalyn Hannon arrived to retrieve Hannon’s vehicle in the area of 277 N. River St. at about 4:15 a.m. While there, Orleski said the vehicle was blocked in by another car.
Orleski claimed Seibert exited an apartment yelling “Get the (expletive) off his property.” Seibert and another man from his apartment began kicking and punching Hannon’s car, the complaint says.
Orleski said Seibert entered the apartment and emerged aiming a rifle at them, according to the complaint.
Police said in the complaint they found an airsoft rifle inside Seibert’s apartment. The airsoft rifle resembles a real firearm, the complaint says.
Earlier that night, Seibert and his girlfriend, Megan Hannon, were allegedly involved in a drunken altercation that began in Seibert’s apartment and spilled out into the parking lot of the nearby 279 Bar & Grill on South River Street at about 2:47 a.m., police said.
Seibert and Hannon were to be cited with harassment in connection with that incident.
