Josephine R. Chellino, of Manor Care, Kingston, where she had been a guest
for the past eight years, died Wednesday.
Born and reared in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and
Maria Sciandra Mantione.
She attended Pittston High School and lived in Carbondale for a time before
returning to live in Pittston.
She was employed in the garment industry for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmen Chellino, in 1987;
brother, Sam Mantione; and sisters, Carmella Alfano and Nellie Alba.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Adonizio Funeral Home
Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.
at Our Lady of Mount Carmel
