Dr. Nichole Danova, President/Director of Surgery for Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center announces staff members who have recently completed their certifications as veterinary technicians.

To become certified, technicians must pass the Veterinary Technician National Examination after completing a two year program where they learn extensive care techniques to assist veterinarians in clinical and office settings. A certified veterinary technician (CVT) will work under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian and can assist in collecting samples, performing lab tests, assisting in surgery and assume many other clinical duties in a veterinary office or hospital.

Congratulations to: Jessica Fenton, CVT; Justine Olsommer, CVT; Natalia Billings, CVT; and Megan DeMory, CVT. Their commitment to improving the lives of our pets is impressive and much appreciated.
